HVAC Maintenance Agreement in New Albany, IN & the Louisville Metro

One Plan. Two Visits a Year. Nothing to Remember.

Most heating and cooling failures are slow. A weak igniter, a low charge, a fouling coil, a heat exchanger starting to crack: all of them announce themselves months ahead, if somebody is looking.

Our maintenance agreement is that somebody. $148 per year covers two scheduled visits, a spring check on your air conditioning and a winter check on your furnace, plus 10% off any parts you need for repairs all year. We call you to book each one, so it never slips.

Family-owned in New Albany since 1978, across the Louisville metro and Southern Indiana. If your system is in good shape, we will tell you so.

Why a Plan Instead of Calling When Something Breaks

You can absolutely just call us when something goes wrong, and plenty of people do. But a maintenance agreement changes the math in three ways.

It catches the slow failures. Most breakdowns are months in the making. Two visits a year is enough to find them while they are still a cheap part rather than a no-heat call on the coldest night of the year.

It is a safety check, not just a comfort one. The winter visit inspects the heat exchanger for cracks and tests for gas leaks. A cracked heat exchanger can leak carbon monoxide, and CO is odorless, so this is the part of the plan that matters most and the part you cannot do yourself.

You stop having to remember. We call you to schedule both visits. In a busy spring or a cold fall, that is the difference between maintenance that happens and maintenance that does not.

What the Two Visits Cover

One agreement, two seasonal visits. Here is what each one includes. Both are real, written checklists, and every item gets done on every visit.

Mr. Cool

Your Spring AC Visit

Mr. Heat

Your Winter Furnace Visit

Spring: Air Conditioning Check

Before the first heat: clean the condensate drain, check the temperature drop across the evaporator coil, check the refrigerant charge and operating pressures, inspect and clean the blower assembly, adjust belts, check the safety devices, and adjust the thermostat.

Winter: Furnace Safety Check

Before the first freeze: clean the burners and heat exchanger and inspect them for cracks, check for gas leaks, inspect the flue and draft diverter, clean and adjust the pilot assembly, test all safety controls, calibrate the thermostat, and run a full furnace cycle.

The Heat Exchanger & CO Check

The single most important item on either visit. A cracked heat exchanger can leak carbon monoxide into your home. Catching it before the heating season is the reason this plan is worth more than the comfort and efficiency most companies sell it on.

10% Off Parts, All Year

For the full year of your agreement, you save 10% on any parts needed for repairs, not just during the two scheduled visits. If something fails in July or January, the discount still applies.

We Do the Remembering

We call you to schedule both visits at the right time of year. You do not have to track it, and it does not get lost in a busy month. That is the whole point of a plan instead of a reminder on your own calendar.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the maintenance agreement include?
Two scheduled visits a year: a spring air conditioning check and a winter furnace check, plus 10% off any parts needed for repairs during the year. We call you to book both visits at the right time.
The spring visit runs the full AC tune-up checklist; the winter visit runs the full furnace tune-up and safety checklist.
$148 per year for the two visits, plus 10% off repair parts for the year.
That is one flat annual price. Call (812) 944-6019 to sign up or ask any questions before you commit.
For most homeowners, yes, and there is a specific reason beyond comfort and efficiency.
The winter visit includes a heat exchanger crack inspection and a gas leak test. That is a genuine carbon monoxide safety check, not padding, and it is the kind of thing that is easy to skip until it matters. If the plan catches one failing part before it strands you, it has already paid for itself.
If your system is newer and you are diligent about filters, a plan is less essential, and we will tell you that honestly rather than pressure you into it.
The air conditioning visit is in spring, before the first heat. The furnace visit is in fall or early winter, before the first hard freeze. We call you to schedule each one at the right time, so you are ready before the season rather than after something has already failed.
Yes. One agreement covers both. The spring visit is the air conditioning tune-up and the winter visit is the furnace tune-up and safety check. You are not buying two separate plans.
Yes. The 10% discount applies to any parts needed for repairs during your agreement year, not only the parts used during the two scheduled visits. If something fails in the middle of summer or winter and you need a repair, the discount still applies.
The agreement is built around both, because most homes have both and the plan is priced for the pair. If you only have one system, or only want one maintained, call us and we will work out a one-off AC tune-up or furnace tune-up instead. You are never obligated to buy more than you need.
Yes. We maintain rooftop units, hanging heaters, PTAC units and light commercial heating and cooling on scheduled agreements, alongside residential.
Commercial maintenance is often a stronger case than residential, because the cost of downtime and the safety obligations are both higher. Tell us about your setup and we will build the schedule around it.
Not completely, and anyone who promises that is overselling. Components fail, sometimes without warning.
What a plan does is shift the odds substantially and catch the slow failures, which are most of them. A weakening igniter, a dropping charge, a fouling coil, a heat exchanger starting to crack: those announce themselves months ahead if someone is looking twice a year.
Call (812) 944-6019 and we will get you set up, or ask your technician on your next service visit. We will schedule your first seasonal check for whenever fits the calendar.
